Now Available! Mascoutah City Cemetery

This book contains the burial inventories for the City Cemetery, Old City (Lincoln Lake), Briesacher, Perrin

and Schnebelin cemeteries. The book includes the cemetery history, updated maps and a surname index.

The city cemetery starts with burials in 1866 and continues through August of 2023.

The old city cemetery has 265 burials obtained from church records and newspaper obituaries.

The book will be available shortly at the Mascoutah Heritage Museum. Cost is $15 at the museum or $20 if mailed.

Remembering Mascoutah: Reflecting On What's Been Going On In Our Hometown

In honor of the Mascoutah Historical Society's 40th anniversary, Marilyn has compiled a series of tales based on her popular newspaper articles from the past few years. In addition, she has written additional stories that add to the history of many activities from Mascoutah's past, both long ago and recent.

Mascoutah Illinois in the Civil War

This book, written to accompany the Historical Society's 2014 Civil War exhibit, details the contributions of the men and women during the war years. Mascoutah's Lakeside Resort: A History of Lincoln Lake
